As a part of a typography course at The Royal Danish Academy, I had to make my own typeface. With a quick introduction to Glyphs, I started working on my own font. That resulted in Simpli Grotesk – a grotesque display font, inspired by swiss design.

I focused on finishing the font, and making all the letters and symbols. Then I spent a lot of time looking at details and made sure that I was as happy as I could be with the design, given the time we had. When the course ended, we all had to make a type specimen, to show how our fonts could be used.
